“Utopia” was a multi-award-winning interactive new media installation, produced in 1996. It explored the social and environmental crisis of the modern city within the format of a dramatic interactive video game installation featuring the renowned performance artist, Rachel Rosenthal.  It was premiered at the Long Beach Museum of Art as part of a larger exhibition called “Love Among the Ruins”.  "Utopia" won a top award for interactive media arts at the prestigious Ars Electronica festival in Austria, was later featured at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA in LA, SIGGRAPH, the Dallas Film Festival, the Berlin Film Festival and was awarded one of Germany’s Internationaler Videokunstart Awards.
